Visa sometime ago, announced that three athletes will join the Nigerian Women’s Bobsled Team and they will be the first African representatives, men or women, to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games in the sport of Bobsled.

They are the Bobsled pilot; Seun Adigun, and brakemen; Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga.
Seun Adigun (Nigeria, Bobsled Driver): Adigun represented Nigeria in the 100m hurdles at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Ngozi Onwumere (Nigeria, Bobsled Breakmen):  won a Silver and Gold medal at the 2015 African Games in Republic of the Congo in the 200m and 4x100m relay, respectively.

Akuoma Omeoga was a sprinter for University of Minnesota, competing in the 100m and 200m races, respectively…
